Promises you and I count on.

Many Christians and even myself have found at one point or another several things in the Bible not clear and sometimes even cryptic. This occurs I believe because the Bible is living and so full of truth that it changes based on where we are in our lives. This is not to say that the words change or they’re meaning, but rather our understanding of them and their application in our life at that moment. This is why Christ said to his disciples,

John 16:12-14 King James Version (KJV)

12 I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now.
13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.
14 He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you.

For many people Revelations is a book full of mystery and I have even heard of fellow believers being afraid to read it. I am here to let you know that I find Isaiah more cryptic and that I find more joy and hope in the prophecies and promises of Revelations than anywhere else in the Bible. The only people who should be afraid of the book of Revelations are those without Christ, and therefore without hope.

So be of good courage and strong heart, here are some verses as examples of great promises which we can all count on. I find them very encouraging.
Rev 1:3 Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.
Rev 2:7 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.
Rev 2:10 Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.
Rev 2:11He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death.
Rev 2:17 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it.
Rev 2:26 And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations:
Rev 3:5 He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.
Rev 3:10 Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.
Rev 3:12 Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name.
Rev 3:20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
Rev 3:21 To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.

Girls Gone Wild in The Red Light District

One of my good friends posted this video on Human Trafficking to raise awareness, and I wanted to share this with you. The selling of people is the number one crime globally and needs to stop. How can we help this cause? Check out this creative video and maybe you'll get an idea.
